That was nice. It was kind of fun Sunday watching the men scramble to add extra seating to provide for the crowd! What a great weekend with our Good Friday service and then our Resurrection Celebration Sunday. It felt almost back to normal. Thanks be to God for His grace as folks are feeling more comfortable coming back to services. As more and more have been vaccinated and some restrictions being eased, things are picking up. We still are following our protocols of sanitizing and distancing as much as possible. We encourage masks entering and exiting but it’s beginning to look and feel like home again. Thank you for making this such a special weekend.
I want to encourage you to pray as we start expanding our ministries again. We have the ladies’ meeting on Saturday, April 17. We will be meeting soon to plan out Vacation Bible School. Yes, we will be having VBS this summer! It will be a little different, some modifications will be made but it will be a wonderful time of teaching, singing, games and food for the kids. Pray as we meet and plan for the summer. Continue to pray for Ron Lundin, our newly elected Education Coordinator, as he continues to build and strengthen our teaching team and work with our teachers in planning out the next year. Again, our goal is not to “change” our Sunday School but to strengthen and enhance it. Choir is starting back this week and soon we will return to Sunday evening services.
